Life Church is not a new church to Peterborough; in 2011 we changed our name to reflect more of the character of the church.
The story of the church goes back many years to when Nene Family Church was founded as the result of the merger of two local churches, when the leaders of those churches decided that the beliefs and vision they shared would have greater potential to flourish if they joined together to form one new fellowship in Peterborough.
Over the years Nene Family Church has reached out to the people of Fletton and various regions of the city, and was particularly well known for Play ‘n’ Chat, its lively parent and toddler group (now known as LifeTots), and its Friday youth evening, The Crossing. Nene Family Church joined the Newfrontiers family of churches and Adam Bradley became lead elder in 2010. Since then the church name has changed to Life Church. Following recent changes to the structure of Newfrontiers, we are now part of the Relational Mission family of churches (part of the Newfrontiers network).
You can be assured that Life Church is a well-established church which has many long term members and an experienced, committed leadership team. Life Church also continues its links with the community through LifeTots, The Crossing, LifeMoney, Aspire, Contented Life in Fletton and various outreach ventures across Peterborough.
